Full-frame camera? Medium format? Yeah, right...Nothing matches the sensation when you come back from the lab, turn on the light-table and anxiously hammer the loupe on that huge slide! Wow", sharpness, definition, unmatched, breathtaking. And this slide, 13x18cm (5x7in), was just half of what we usually shot with, which was 18x24cm (7x9in). I took that photo some..(lets just say many) years ago in the Kleinhempel photo studio in Hamburg, Germany. The film was Kodak #825 and while I have always been a Fuji fan, for that motive the Kodak colors were just a perfect match. The camera must have been either a Plaubel or Sinar, I can't remember. Having said all that, and while I still, so many years later, enjoy the quality of this kind of photos, I now much more prefer to be out in the real world shooting "real stuff", for which in return, nothing beats a small and light and silent camera like a ..mirrorless full frame (right now the Sony 7Rm3).
